Monroeville is the largest suburb east of Pittsburgh, built around the William Penn Highway (Route 22) commercial strip, Monroeville Mall and the Turnpike interchange, with Forbes Hospital and a large medical office cluster nearby. Residential streets off Northern Pike, Haymaker Road and Old William Penn Highway are mostly 1950s to 1980s ranches, split-levels and colonials, with several large apartment complexes closer to Route 22.
Homes of that era often have paneled family rooms, finished basements with a bar or media area, and living rooms with a brick fireplace wall. Solaxay checks the wall material from photos, brings anchors for both framing and masonry, and plans the mount so it clears mantels and works with the room's seating. Apartment residents get the same stud-anchored installation with minimal holes.
Solaxay also serves the surrounding communities of Plum, Murrysville, Penn Hills, Pitcairn, Trafford, Turtle Creek and Wilkins Township.
